A comprehensive guide to installing macros in Bloody 7

Drivers for Bloody Mice

If you have Bloody WorkShop8 installed, please refer to our How to Install a Macro for Bloody WorkShop8 guide.

For example, for mice such as Bloody A90, J90S, J95S, A70, W70, A7, W95 Max or Bloody V8 – macros require the official software (Bloody 6/7 or Bloody8 Workshop), available for download from the official A4Tech/Bloody website. Note that some devices work with different software – for instance, Bloody ES9 uses Bloody Esports, and older A4Tech X7 gaming mice require Oscar Editor for recording macros.

Bloody 7: How to Configure a Macro

Install your mouse drivers and ensure that the Ultra-Core 3/4 feature is activated. On some devices it operates in a test mode, after which a license key might be needed. If your mouse already comes with the feature enabled, you may skip this step.

Macro Files: Download the Bloody 7 Macro

You can purchase and download a Bloody 7 macro on our website under the Macros section. Prepare the macro files you plan to install – these are typically provided in .amc (Oscar Macro for Bloody/X7) or .mgn (Bloody’s native macro format). If you downloaded an archive, extract it and save the files in a convenient location for import. We recommend organizing macros in separate folders for each game.

Adjusting Settings

Review the macro recommendations. To counter recoil, optimal in-game sensitivity values are often specified. Pre-configure these settings to ensure your Bloody recoil macro functions correctly.

How to Add or Create a Macro in Bloody 7

When installing macros via the official software (e.g., Bloody 6/7), you can use the classic method by employing the Ultra-Core 3 mode:

Launching the Software and Detecting Your Mouse

Ensure that your mouse is detected, then open the macro management section. In Bloody 6/7, this section is labeled “Headshot.”

Creating a Game Category

For convenience, create a separate category (or folder) for the macros of a specific game. In the software menu, choose “New Game,” enter a name (for example, “CS 2” or “Apex Legends”), and a new category will appear in the list.

Where Are Bloody 7 Macros Stored?

To add macros to the software, simply move your .mgn or .amc files into the folder you previously created for the game within the Headshot section. Bloody 7 macros are stored at:
C:\Program Files\Bloody7\Data\Mouse\English\ScriptsMacros\GunLib\YourGameName. After copying, .mgn files will automatically appear in the program’s library under the corresponding folder. If you have an .amc macro, additional configuration is required – see the instructions below.

To have an .amc macro appear in the software, follow these steps: Click the HEADSHOTS button (icon of an automatic rifle). Select the M-MACRO option, check the box next to your desired macro, and click BACK. In the confirmation window, choose YES. Enter a name for the macro (for example, “AK 47”) and confirm by clicking OK. Excellent – your .amc file has now been successfully imported into the Bloody software.

Assigning a Macro Activation Button

After saving the macro, assign a button to trigger it. The software typically offers three modes: 1-Key (neutral), N-Key (macro mode), and 3-Key (macro mode). Choose a button that suits you (for example, 3-Key to activate an AK 47 macro, N-Key for an M416 macro, or 1-Key to disable all macros) and click APPLY.

Completing the Installation

Once all steps are completed, the macro is loaded into your mouse’s memory. When you press the assigned button, the macro activates and alters the behavior (for example, modifying the left-click function). Note that in Ultra-Core 3 mode the macro is bound to the left mouse button.

Ultra-Core 3 is ideal for basic control using the 3-Key and N-Key buttons, while Ultra-Core 4 allows macros to be assigned to all buttons – even to 1-Key and N-Key without binding them to left-click (as was the case with X7 mice). This means you can assign special LBM (left-button) macros to these buttons, which are included with our products – see our shop.

Installing X7 Macros for Bloody

You can assign an .amc macro to any mouse button. This is especially useful for special LBM macros: they can be mapped to any button so that the button toggles the macro on/off while the shooting control remains activated by holding down the left-click.

To assign a macro to any button, go to the “Button” section. Select the desired button (in Core4 mode, N-Key and 1-Key options are also available). Then click “Choose macro file,” navigate to your game folder where you placed your .amc files, select your macro, and click APPLY.

Potential Issues and Their Solutions

While installing and using macros, you may encounter the following issues:

Macro Not Displayed in the Software

You may not have copied the macro into the designated game folder, or if you did, you might not have converted it via the HEADSHOTS tab (with the rifle icon).

Recoil Is Present, but the Weapon Doesn’t Fire

This is a common error when installing the special LBM version of a macro on mode buttons. These macros are not intended for mode buttons; LBM macros can only be assigned to additional mouse buttons via the BUTTON tab.

Issues Loading the Macro into Mouse Memory

If the loading process hangs, try restarting the Bloody software and attempting again. Also, verify that you have the latest software version installed.

The Macro Worked Previously, but Now It’s Disabled

The trial period for Ultra-Core mode may have expired. In this case, you will need to purchase and enter an Activation Code to reactivate the macros. Additionally, Bloody 7 macros in Rust might be disabled due to anti-cheat measures – see more details here.

Macro Performance Not Meeting Expectations

If the macro’s effect is either too weak or too strong, check your in-game settings. The macro is calibrated for specific sensitivity values and may not perform correctly if the settings do not match.

If none of these methods resolve your issue, please contact our support via the website chat.

By following these recommendations, you can configure your A4Tech Bloody or X7 mouse to perfectly suit your gaming needs, ensuring precision and comfort during battle. We wish you success in your games and pinpoint accuracy on target!
