In MAKCU 2 PC mode, the program runs on the second computer or laptop. It does not receive frames directly from OBS, Parsec, or Discord: auto-detection analyzes the image that is actually displayed on the selected screen of the second device.
Therefore, the broadcast needs to be expanded to full screen without black bars, panels, and notifications. The main gaming monitor can be left at 2560×1440 with its usual refresh rate.
The main resolution rule: in the TopMacro program on the second PC, select the actual resolution of its monitor. For Full HD laptops, this is 1920×1080, not 2560×1440 from the game on the main PC.
How the program sees weapons on the second PC
Auto-detection reads small areas of the game interface: weapon icon, slot, crosshair, or module. The cleaner and more stable the image on the second screen, the more reliable the recognition.
A full frame is needed
Do not crop the edges or stretch the picture by distorting proportions. For a 16:9 game, use 16:9 full-screen output.
The interface must be visible
Hide the cursor, chat, participant list, Windows notifications, and any panels over game indicators.
Resolution is set by the second screen
If the laptop shows 1920×1080, 1920×1080 is selected in the project and detection settings.
Modules require details
Strong compression of 720p can preserve a large weapon icon but blur small sights and modules.
MAKCU 2 PC: In PUBG and other supported clients for reading sights and modules, briefly open the inventory. The weapon itself is usually detected through the game interface in real time.
Connecting MAKCU for two computers
First assemble the board working diagram, then configure the video. Cables USB1 and USB2 should transmit data, not just power.
- USB1 — main gaming PCThe computer on which the game is running and the 2560×1440 monitor remains connected here.
- USB2 — second PC or laptopHere, the TopMacro program is launched in MAKCU 2 PC input mode.
- USB3 — mouseConnect a wired mouse or a USB receiver of a compatible wireless mouse.
Before checking recognition, make sure that the program sees the COM port and normal mouse movement through MAKCU works. Diagnostics of MAKCU and COM port.
Which transmission method to choose
For accuracy, a stable Full HD image without stripes and laptop overload is more important than the maximum frame rate.

TopMacro: If the laptop is weak but accuracy is needed, start with a capture card at 1080p30. If there is no card and the laptop has a hardware decoder, use Parsec. Leave Discord for circuit checking or temporary replacement.
Method 1. OBS and a capture card — recommended
In this setup the capture card acts as a separate Full HD display. The gaming monitor stays connected directly to the GPU and continues running at 2560×1440 and its normal refresh rate. OBS on the main PC captures the game, builds a separate 1920×1080 frame, and projects it to the card. OBS on the laptop then shows that signal full screen for TopMacro.
OBS: Install the current OBS Studio release on the main PC and the laptop. You do not need to start a stream or recording: download OBS Studio.
How the picture travels: The game stays on the main 2K monitor. A second GPU output becomes a 1920×1080 capture-card display. An OBS fullscreen projector sends a clean game scene to that output, the card carries it over USB to the laptop, and the second OBS fills the laptop’s Full HD screen.
Connect the hardware and configure Windows displays
Build the setup without passthrough first. This keeps a budget card from limiting the main monitor’s resolution, refresh rate, VRR, or HDR.
- Keep the 2K monitor connected directlyThe DisplayPort or HDMI cable from the GPU must continue going straight to the gaming monitor. Do not move the monitor to the capture card’s HDMI OUT.
- Connect the card to a separate GPU outputConnect a spare GPU HDMI port to HDMI IN on the card. Use a suitable DP-to-HDMI adapter if needed. Connect the card directly to a USB 3.x port on the laptop, preferably without a hub.
- Extend the displaysPress Win+P on the main PC and choose Extend. Do not use Duplicate because Windows may force a common resolution and refresh rate for the 2K monitor and the card.
- Preserve the gaming monitor settingsOpen Settings → System → Display, click Identify, and select the gaming monitor. Keep 2560×1440, make it the main display, and restore its normal refresh rate under Advanced display.
- Configure the capture-card displaySelect the second display created by the card and set 1920×1080, landscape orientation, and 60 Hz. If the card only supports 30 FPS, use 30 Hz/30 FPS throughout the chain.
Do not place a budget card inline with the 2K monitor: Use HDMI OUT/passthrough only when the card specification explicitly supports the required 2560×1440 mode, refresh rate, VRR, and HDR. Otherwise the monitor may fall back to 1080p60 or lose VRR. Direct monitor plus a separate card output is the predictable setup.
OBS on the main gaming PC
This OBS instance only builds a separate Full HD scene and projects it to the card display. Encoding, recording, and internet streaming are not required.
- Create a dedicated sceneAdd a scene named “MAKCU 2 PC” and keep it free of webcams, chat, alerts, and anything else that could cover the game UI.
- Set a 1920×1080 canvasOpen Settings → Video. Set Base (Canvas) Resolution = 1920×1080 and Common FPS Values = 60 or 30. Output (Scaled) can also stay at 1920×1080, but the fullscreen projector uses the canvas, not the recording/stream output setting.
- Add Game CaptureIn Sources, click + → Game Capture. For one game, select Mode = Capture specific window and choose the running game under Window. OBS recommends one Game Capture source per scene.
- If Game Capture does not show the gameRun OBS as administrator and select the window again. For games that block Game Capture, use borderless windowed mode plus Window Capture. Keep Display Capture as the last option because it exposes the whole desktop.
- Fit the game without croppingRight-click the source → Transform → Reset Transform, then Fit to Screen. When reducing 2560×1440 to 1920×1080, select Scale Filtering → Lanczos if available. Do not use Stretch to Screen or crop UI edges.
- Project the scene to the card displayRight-click the scene or preview → Fullscreen Projector (Scene/Preview), then select the 1920×1080 capture-card display. This is what sends the scene into the card’s HDMI input. Start Streaming and Start Recording are not needed.
- Save the projector and hide the cursorUnder Settings → General → Projectors, enable Hide cursor over projectors. After a successful test, you may enable Save projectors on exit so OBS reopens the same fullscreen output next time.
OBS on the laptop or second PC
The second OBS receives the card as a Video Capture Device. Every mode must match the signal coming from the main PC.
- Configure video in the second OBSOpen Settings → Video and set Base and Output to 1920×1080 plus the same 30 or 60 FPS used by the main PC and card.
- Add the card as a Video Capture DeviceCreate an empty scene, click Sources → + → Video Capture Device, and select the card under Device. Do not add Display Capture; TopMacro needs the card signal.
- Choose a supported 1080p modeTry Device Default first. If resolution or FPS is wrong, set Resolution/FPS Type = Custom, Resolution = 1920×1080, and FPS = 60 or 30. An unsupported combination produces a black screen.
- Do not force a random video formatInitially leave Video Format, Color Space, and Color Range at Default/Any. Leave Buffering on Auto-Detect; try Enable for stutter or Disable for excessive delay. Change one setting at a time.
- Remove borders and black barsUse Transform → Reset Transform and Fit to Screen. The 16:9 frame must fill the 1920×1080 canvas exactly without Stretch, Crop, or manual distortion.
- Disable unnecessary audioMute the card source in Audio Mixer and do not enable Use custom audio device. Recognition does not require sound.
TopMacro and full-screen output on the laptop
- Configure TopMacro firstWhile OBS is still windowed, open TopMacro and select MAKCU 2 PC input mode, the laptop display, and its actual 1920×1080 resolution.
- Make the card signal full screenRight-click the OBS preview → Fullscreen Projector (Preview) and select the laptop display. It must cover the taskbar and OBS interface; press Esc to return to a window.
- Check for a clean frameBoth edges of the game UI are visible with no black bars, cursor, OBS windows, notifications, or widgets covering weapons or inventory.
- Run a five-minute testConfirm the gaming monitor still runs at 2560×1440 and its normal refresh rate. Switch weapons, open inventory for attachments, and watch CPU, GPU, and Video Decode load for at least five minutes.
Ready-to-use quality profiles
First obtain a stable full frame, then increase frame rate. Clean 1080p30 is more useful for recognition than unstable 1080p60.
Weak laptop
Card and both OBS instances: 1920×1080 at 30 FPS. Audio off, Buffering = Auto-Detect, recognition interval 0.8–1.0 seconds, AIM off, and a direct USB 3.x connection.
Mid-range or powerful laptop
Card and both OBS instances: 1920×1080 at 60 FPS. Start near a 0.5-second interval; begin AIM with Boost 320×320 and watch Video Decode/3D load.
Why the main monitor stays at 2K: Extend creates two independent displays: the 2560×1440 gaming monitor and a 1920×1080 card display. OBS scales a copy of the game inside its separate canvas without changing the game itself. If 2K disappears, Duplicate, the wrong display, or limited passthrough is usually responsible.
Start the setup in SDR: Many budget cards do not handle HDR correctly. If the laptop image is gray, too dark, or blown out, disable HDR and Auto HDR for the first test. Keep HDR only with confirmed card support and the correct 10-bit mode.
If the picture is missing or unstable
The main monitor changed to 1920×1080 or lost refresh rate
Return to Win+P → Extend, make the gaming monitor primary, and restore 2560×1440 plus its refresh rate under Advanced display. Remove the card from passthrough.
Windows does not see the capture-card display
Check USB power, HDMI IN rather than HDMI OUT, the cable, and an output on the discrete GPU. Click Detect in Display settings and reconnect the card after the laptop boots.
OBS on the main PC shows a black screen
Start the game before selecting Window, try OBS as administrator, disable conflicting overlays, and use borderless mode. If Game Capture is incompatible, use Window Capture or Display Capture.
OBS on the laptop sees the card but the frame is black
Close vendor software and other apps that may own the device. Return to Device Default or a supported 1080p30/60 mode; unsupported FPS or Video Format can disable the image.
The image is bordered, cropped, or stretched
Verify 1920×1080 and 16:9 on both canvases, then use Reset Transform and Fit to Screen for both sources. Do not use Stretch to Screen.
The image stutters or has too much delay
Match 30 or 60 FPS across the card display, both OBS instances, and Video Capture Device. Use a direct USB 3.x port, close extra apps, and reduce FPS to 30 before lowering 1920×1080.
Colors look washed out or too dark
Disable HDR/Auto HDR and return Color Space/Range to Default. Change other color settings only according to the card documentation.
Method 2. Parsec — no capture card
Parsec runs as the host on the main PC and captures the selected display. The laptop connects as the client and shows that display full screen. For MAKCU 2 PC, a view-only guest connection is preferable so the laptop cannot send mouse, keyboard, or gamepad input to the game.
Parsec: Install the Parsec desktop app on both computers. Do not use the browser client for this setup: download Parsec.
First choose how to connect
Using one account is easiest for the first test. For regular MAKCU use, a separate guest account with no control permissions is safer.
One account — easiest
Sign in to the same Parsec account on both PCs. On the laptop, open Computers and click Connect on the main PC. This is an owner connection: the laptop receives full input permissions, and Use Client Resolution can change the gaming display resolution.
Two accounts — recommended
Click Share on the main PC. Sign in with a second account on the laptop and paste the link into the field at the bottom right. Accept the request on the main PC, then disable Gamepad, Keyboard, and Mouse for the guest to create a true view-only connection.
On the main PC — Host
- Allow connectionsClick the Settings cog, open Host, and verify Hosting Enabled = Enabled. Hosting is normally enabled by default on Windows, but it still needs to be checked.
- Check the gaming display in WindowsOpen Windows Settings → System → Display, select the gaming monitor, and keep 2560×1440 plus its normal refresh rate. Preferably make this display the main display.
- Select the display in ParsecIn Settings → Host, find Display and select the same 2K gaming monitor. If Parsec still shows another screen, make the gaming monitor primary in Windows and reconnect.
- Protect the 2K resolutionFor a single-account owner connection, set Resolution = Keep Host Resolution. Do not select Use Client Resolution or 1920×1080 because they change the host display itself. The setting does not apply to a guest, but keep it enabled for future owner connections.
- Set stream qualityStart with Bandwidth Limit = 30 Mbps and FPS = 60. On a fast wired network, increase the limit gradually if fine details look blurred, but do not exceed 50 Mbps without a reason. For a weak laptop, try 30 FPS and immediately confirm that the gaming monitor refresh rate did not change.
On the laptop — Client
- Open client settingsBefore connecting, open Settings → Client. Keep Overlay enabled for the first test so you can see stream resolution, codec, and latency information.
- Use full-screen modeSet Window Mode = Fullscreen and Renderer = Direct3D 11. Parsec will fill the laptop display without a window border.
- Select a real hardware decoderUnder Decoder, select Intel, NVIDIA, or AMD according to the laptop GPU. Do not use Software for regular operation because it heavily loads the CPU. If no hardware option is available, the laptop may be too weak to decode a 2K stream.
- Test H.265Enable H.265 (HEVC) when both PCs support it. After connecting, use Overlay to confirm H.265 and hardware decoding. If you see stutter, a black screen, or Software decoding, disable H.265 and use H.264.
- Connect to the hostWith one account, open Computers and click Connect. For a guest connection, paste the Share link into the field at the bottom right, then click Accept on the main PC or press Ctrl+F1.
After connecting
- Check the pictureThe laptop must show the gaming monitor, and the image must fill the 1920×1080 display without borders or black bars. If the wrong display appears, correct Settings → Host → Display on the main PC.
- Disable remote controlFor a guest, click their avatar at the bottom of Parsec on the host and disable Gamepad, Keyboard, and Mouse; all three icons must be gray. With one account, press Ctrl+Alt+Z on the laptop to detach mouse and keyboard until the next click inside Parsec, and disconnect any laptop gamepad.
- Select the screen in TopMacroRun TopMacro on the laptop, choose MAKCU 2 PC input mode, the display containing full-screen Parsec, and 1920×1080. Do not select 2560×1440: TopMacro analyzes the Full HD image actually shown on the laptop.
- Run a control testConfirm the main monitor still runs at 2560×1440 and its usual refresh rate. Change weapons, open the inventory for attachments, and verify recognition for at least five minutes.
Why the stream is 2K but TopMacro must use 1920×1080: Parsec sends the selected display resolution without downscaling it first. The laptop therefore decodes 2560×1440 and scales it to its 1920×1080 screen, while TopMacro must use the laptop’s actual screen resolution. Parsec cannot create a separate 1080p stream while keeping that same physical monitor at 2K: selecting 1080p changes the host display. If the laptop cannot handle this, use OBS or a capture card that outputs a ready-made 1080p stream.
If the laptop is weak: First make sure Decoder is not set to Software. Then try a guest connection, 30 FPS, Ethernet, and test H.265 and H.264 separately. Close unnecessary apps and increase the TopMacro recognition interval. If CPU/GPU usage remains near 100% or the picture freezes, use OBS or a capture card at 1080p30.
Method 3. Discord — backup and testing option
Discord is useful for a quick MAKCU 2 PC test without a capture card or remote-desktop setup. The main PC shares the game window to a private voice channel and the laptop opens the stream full screen. Cloud compression preserves small sight and attachment icons less reliably, so OBS with a capture card or Parsec is preferable for regular use.
When to use Discord: Use it for the first launch, a weapon-detection check, or a temporary setup. Treat Discord as a fallback when reliable recognition of small attachments matters.
Discord: Install the Discord desktop app on both computers. Stream quality cannot be changed in the browser: download Discord.
How the picture travels: The game stays on the main 2560×1440 monitor. Discord captures only the game window, compresses it, and sends it over the internet. A second account on the laptop opens the stream in Focus View and full screen, and TopMacro analyzes what is actually displayed on the Full HD panel.
Prepare two accounts and a private channel
The clearest setup is a small private Discord server with one voice channel. Use two different Discord accounts.
- Prepare two accountsSign in to the first account on the main PC and the second account on the laptop. Reusing one account can move the active voice session to the other device.
- Create a private serverCreate a private server and a voice channel named “MAKCU 2 PC”. Invite only the second account and do not publish the invite link.
- Check the Video permissionBoth accounts must see the channel, and the broadcaster needs the Video permission that enables Screen Share and Go Live.
- Use a stable networkPrefer Ethernet on both computers. For Wi‑Fi, use 5 or 6 GHz near the router and pause downloads, cloud synchronization, and VPN traffic.
Start Go Live on the main gaming PC
Launch the game first, then configure the desktop Discord app. Share the game application rather than the whole screen so desktop windows and notifications are not transmitted.
- Launch the game before opening Screen ShareWait for the main menu. If exclusive fullscreen capture fails, switch the game to borderless windowed mode; it can still fill the 2K monitor.
- Join the voice channelOpen the private server, join “MAKCU 2 PC”, and confirm that Voice Connected appears in the lower-left panel.
- Click ScreenClick the monitor-with-arrow Screen icon in the voice connection panel to open the source picker.
- Select the game windowUnder Applications, select the specific running game. Avoid Screen 1 or the entire desktop unless you are troubleshooting.
- If Discord does not detect the gameOpen User Settings → Registered Games/Game Activity → Add it, add the running game, then reopen Screen Share.
- Verify the channel and sourceConfirm the private channel and game window once more. Disable Discord and Windows notifications that could cover weapons or inventory.
- Click Go LiveStart the stream and return to the game. Discord may pause its small PiP preview while the game has focus; this is normal and does not mean the viewer stream stopped.
Choose resolution and frame rate
Available options depend on the subscription, server, and current Discord features. Do not copy the highlighted setting in the screenshot; use one of the profiles below.
- Free test: 720p at 30 FPSDiscord’s official guide states that all users can stream up to 720p/30 FPS. This often detects weapons, but small sights and attachments can blur.
- Working profile: 1080p at 60 FPSIf Discord actually offers 1080p/60, select it. On a weaker laptop, 1080p/30 is preferable when available because detail matters more than extra frames.
- Avoid Source or 1440p unless neededThe laptop panel is still 1920×1080, while 1440p increases network and decoding load. Stable 1080p is the practical TopMacro target.
- Change quality while liveHover over the PiP, click the gear → Stream Quality, and change Resolution or Frame Rate. Repeat the recognition test after each change.
Ready-to-use second-PC profiles
First obtain a stable frame without blur or freezing. Increase FPS or enable AIM only after that.
Weak laptop
720p/30 only for a weapon test, stream audio muted, 0.8–1.0 second detection interval, AIM off. Prefer 1080p/30 if it is offered.
Mid-range laptop
1080p/30 over Ethernet with about a 0.5-second interval. This usually preserves attachments better than 720p/60.
Powerful laptop
1080p/60 with a 0.3–0.5-second interval. Start AIM at Boost 320×320 and monitor CPU, GPU, and Video Decode.
Watch the stream on the laptop
Use the second account and the desktop Discord app. The selected monitor must show only the game frame, without the member list, chat, or call panels.
- Sign in to the second accountOpen the same private server and join “MAKCU 2 PC”. Camera and microphone are not required.
- Find the LIVE badgeClick the broadcaster with the red LIVE badge and choose Watch Stream. Double-clicking the user may also open the stream directly.
- Switch to Focus ViewSelect Focus View so the game stream becomes the main tile and occupies most of Discord.
- Hide other membersClick Hide Members and remove the lower camera/stream thumbnails that reduce the game frame.
- Open Full ScreenClick Full Screen. If needed, use Pop Out, maximize the separate window, and make sure the taskbar is hidden.
- Remove audio and notificationsRecognition does not need sound. Mute the stream, enable Do Not Disturb, close chat, and keep the cursor away from weapons and inventory.
- Check the full 16:9 frameThe game must fill the 1920×1080 display without side panels, cropping, or black bars. Reapply Focus View and Hide Members if necessary.
Configure TopMacro for the Discord stream
- Configure the program before fullscreenKeep Discord windowed, open TopMacro, and select the MAKCU 2 PC input mode.
- Select the laptop monitorChoose the physical display that will show Discord full screen, not the main gaming-PC display.
- Set 1920×1080Use the actual Full HD laptop resolution. Do not enter the game’s 2560×1440 or switch to 1280×720 just because the free stream is 720p.
- Enable detection and return to DiscordStart auto-detection, then restore Focus View and Full Screen. Open inventory for a few seconds when detecting sights and attachments.
The main 2K monitor keeps its resolution: Discord captures an application and does not change Windows resolution on the gaming PC. The game stays at 2560×1440 while Discord makes a compressed copy. TopMacro still uses 1920×1080 because it analyzes the laptop display.
Why Discord remains a fallback: Discord applies adaptive compression during motion and network instability. A large weapon icon may remain readable while small sight, grip, and attachment icons lose clarity. If 1080p is unavailable or attachment detection is unstable, use Parsec or OBS with a capture card.
If Discord is unsuitable for recognition
Screen or Go Live is missing
Join the voice channel first, verify the role/channel Video permission, and restart the desktop app after permission changes.
The game is missing from Applications
Launch it before opening Screen Share, add it under Registered Games/Game Activity → Add it, and use borderless mode.
The stream is black
Switch from exclusive fullscreen to Borderless and update Discord plus the graphics driver. If the issue remains, disable Hardware Acceleration under Voice & Video → Video and fully restart Discord.
The stream is blurry or pixelated
Pause downloads, use Ethernet, and choose stable 1080p/30 over unstable 1080p/60. If fine detail is still lost, change methods.
Panels and members remain visible
Use Watch Stream → Focus View → Hide Members → Full Screen, or maximize a Pop Out window.
Weapons work but attachments do not
Verify 1080p, open inventory, and remove cursor/notification overlays. If only 720p is available, use Parsec or a capture card instead of guessing detection thresholds.
A weak laptop stutters
Reduce to 30 FPS, mute audio, and close animation-heavy apps. If it still freezes, toggle Hardware Acceleration once and fully restart Discord.
TopMacro captures the wrong display or scale
Select the monitor with fullscreen Discord and its real 1920×1080 resolution. Remove panels and black bars before testing again.
Configuring the TopMacro program on the second PC
First, launch the program and select the options, then expand the stream to full screen. The names of individual items may slightly differ between PUBG, APEX, CS2, RIS, and TopMacro AI.
- Select the MAKCU 2 PC input modeCheck that the program has connected to the COM port of the board on the second device.
- Specify the required monitorSelect the screen on which the fullscreen broadcast will be displayed. In Auto mode, the program can focus on the monitor under the cursor.
- Set the resolution to 1920×1080This is the resolution of the Full HD laptop monitor. The resolution 2560×1440 of the main PC does not need to be specified here.
- Enable auto-detectionActivate weapon detection and wait for the templates for the selected resolution to load.
- Set the intervalStart with 0.5 seconds. On a weak CPU, increase to 0.8–1.0 seconds; on a powerful one, you can use 0.3–0.5 seconds.
- Expand the videoAfter setup, switch OBS, Parsec, or Discord to fullscreen and leave TopMacro running in the background.
If the client supports module and sight detection, open the inventory for a few seconds. Make sure that the player list, kill feed, or other window does not cover the needed icons.
Settings for weak and powerful second PC
Auto weapon detection processes small areas of the screen and is noticeably lighter than AIM. AIM also runs an ONNX model and can consume CPU or GPU resources that the stream decoder needs at the same time.

Open Task Manager and observe CPU, memory, GPU 3D, and Video Decode. If the load constantly approaches 100%, first reduce the frame rate to 30 FPS and increase the detection interval. Keep 1920×1080 to avoid losing fine details.
Do not enable GPU for AIM just because it is available. If the video decoder and 3D are already heavily loaded, CPU mode or Boost 320×320 may work more stably.
Five-minute control check
Check the system in game training mode without changing several parameters at once.
- Check the full frameOn the laptop, both edges of the interface are visible, with no black bars, borders, or stretching.
- Switch two weaponsThe active weapon in the program should update after switching slots.
- Open the inventoryCheck the sight or module detection if this feature is supported by the selected client.
- Close all panelsRemove the chat, participant list, and notifications, then repeat the same test.
- Leave for five minutesThere should be no image freezing, frame drops, overheating, or constant 100% loading of CPU/GPU.

No. For a weak laptop, stable 1080p30 is better than overloaded 1080p60. First, achieve a clean image and stable recognition.
Why is the weapon detected, but the modules are not?
Modules are smaller and more sensitive to 720p, compression, and interface overlap. Use Full HD, open the inventory, and remove panels over the icons.
Can Wi-Fi be used?
Yes, but for Parsec and Discord a wired network is more stable. With Wi-Fi, use 5 GHz, a good signal, and minimal network load.
Is sound needed on the second PC?
